5 Steps to a Better Life: Our Admissions Process
Let’s discuss the challenges you’re facing and how The Carpenter Shed can help you. We know that you are facing a significant decision at this time, and are here to listen and share from our experience. The admissions process can happen swiftly–in a just a few days if needed.
Step 2: Evaluate
Our admissions advisors will help you determine if we’re a good fit. Keep in mind that completing the application in no way commits you to anything.
Step 3: Documents
After receiving all enrollment documents, you’ll work with a case manager to set an admissions date and travel logistics. We will also provide a packing list and other tips to get things started.
Step 4: Arrival
On arrival day, your case manager will help you settle in, introduce you to the team and other residents, provide a short orientation, and a tour. Parents will receive a follow-up within a few days.
Step 5: Exhale
You’ve made the right decision. The Carpenter Shed has been the way ahead for hundreds of young men over the years. Life here is safe, productive, rewarding, and can actually be quite fun.
